Privacy Policy
FutureMasters ("FutureMasters", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you participate in our text message (SMS) program, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. By opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Phone number - the mobile number you provide when you opt in (e.g., by text, form, or in person).
- Message history - the messages you send us, including replies such as STOP, HELP, or other keyword responses, and the timestamps of those messages.
- Program details - which campaign or program you joined, and any contact information you voluntarily provide (name, email, preferences).
- Carrier information - limited metadata from your mobile carrier (e.g., device/carrier details) that is shared with our SMS service provider when messages are sent or delivered.
We do not collect financial account numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, or precise location data through our SMS program.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To send you the marketing and promotional messages you requested when you opted in.
- To honor your requests, including opt-outs (STOP), help requests (HELP), and any replies you send us.
- To deliver information about products, services, events, and offers you indicated interest in.
- To operate, secure, and improve our services, and to comply with legal and carrier requirements for application-to-person (A2P) messaging.
3. Legal Basis
Our primary legal basis for processing your information is your consent. You voluntarily opt in to receive text messages from us, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by replying STOP.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- SMS service providers - we use third-party telecommunications providers (such as Twilio) to deliver and receive text messages. They process your phone number and message content solely to provide that service to us, and are bound by their own terms and applicable carrier requirements.
- As required by law - we may disclose information if required to comply with the law, a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
- With your consent - in other circumstances where we have asked for and received your consent.
5. Your Choices and Opt-Out
- You may opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying STOP.
- You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us at jarvis@futuremasters.io.
- Message and data rates may apply to you from your wireless carrier; that depends on your carrier and plan.
6. Retention
We retain your phone number and message records for as long as you remain opted in, and for a limited period afterward as needed to honor your opt-out across all campaigns and to meet legal and recordkeeping obligations. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data in line with industry standards.
8. Children
Our SMS program is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. California Residents
If you are a California resident, you have the right to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you; to delete that information; and to correct inaccurate information. To make a request, email jarvis@futuremasters.io. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. California residents may also learn more at the CCPA website: https://oag.ca.gov/privacy/ccpa.
10. Do Not Track Signals
Because our program is text-message based, browser "Do Not Track" signals do not apply. The equivalent control for our program is replying STOP, which we honor immediately.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page before they take effect.
