Program Privacy Policy
This Program Privacy Policy explains how HireJarvis LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company doing business as Future Masters and also as AI Builder Academy ("Future Masters", "we", "us" or "our"), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information about students, parents, guardians and applicants who take part in our programs, research and events, or who use our program websites. Our separate SMS Privacy Policy covers our text message program.
1. Information We Collect
From parents and guardians: name, email address, phone number, relationship to the student, city and state, answers to application and research questionnaires, call scheduling details, and payment details (processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers).
About students: name, age or grade, city and state, interests and goals, answers to questionnaires, self-recorded videos, recordings of calls, classes and events, chat messages in class, and the websites, apps, code and other projects the student builds in the program.
Recordings: intake calls, interviews, classes and events may be recorded by audio and video, including on Zoom or similar platforms. We tell participants when a session is recorded.
Automatically: when you visit our websites we and our service providers may collect device, browser, page-view and approximate location information through cookies, server logs and analytics or advertising tools. We do not knowingly use these tools to track students.
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, government ID numbers or precise geolocation.
2. How We Use Information
- To review applications, schedule calls and decide program fit.
- To run classes, mentoring, projects, events and the class portfolio.
- To design and improve our curriculum, including through paid research questionnaires and videos.
- To communicate with parents and students about the program, payments and schedules.
- To pay research participants and keep tax and accounting records.
- To keep our programs safe, secure and lawful.
- To promote Future Masters, but only with the signed Participant Media Release described in Section 4.
3. Children Under 13 and Parental Consent
We do not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13 without verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian, as required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). For any student under 18, we ask a parent or guardian to consent before the student takes part in recorded or online program activities.
A parent or guardian of a child under 13 may at any time review the personal information we hold about the child, ask us to delete it, and refuse to allow any further collection or use, by emailing us at the address in Section 11. If we learn that we collected information from a child under 13 without the required consent, we will delete it.
4. Recordings, Photos and Publicity
We use a student's image, voice, name, recordings, statements or projects in marketing, on our websites or in public materials only after a parent or guardian, and the student, sign our Participant Media Release. That release explains exactly what we may do. Unless the parent chooses otherwise in the release, we identify students publicly by first name and last initial only. We never publish a student's home address, phone number, email address, school name or date of birth. We do not sell or license any student's image, voice or likeness to anyone for training artificial intelligence models.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run the program, under contracts or terms that limit their use of the data to providing services to us. These include video conferencing and recording (such as Zoom), scheduling (such as Calendly), meeting transcription, email and file storage (such as Google Workspace), website hosting and databases (such as Vercel and Supabase), payment processing, text messaging (such as Twilio), and artificial intelligence services we use to transcribe, summarize or analyze program information.
- With program staff and mentors who need it to teach and support students.
- Publicly, only as allowed by a signed Participant Media Release.
- For legal reasons, if required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the safety of a student or anyone else.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger, sale or reorganization, subject to this policy.
6. Retention
We keep application and research information for as long as needed for the purposes above, generally up to three years after a student's last program activity, unless a longer period is required by law or covered by a signed Participant Media Release. Recordings and materials covered by a signed Participant Media Release may be kept for as long as that release allows. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including access controls and encrypted connections, to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices and Rights
- Parents and guardians may ask to see, correct or delete their own or their child's information, subject to legal exceptions and to any signed Participant Media Release.
- A student under 18 who posted content on one of our websites or apps may ask us to remove it, as provided by California law and similar laws.
- Residents of California, New York and other states with privacy laws may have additional rights, such as the right to know, delete, correct, or opt out of certain processing. We honor those rights as the applicable law requires.
- You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link, and out of texts by replying STOP.
To make a request, email us at the address in Section 11. We will verify the request before acting on it and will not discriminate against anyone for exercising their rights.
9. Do Not Track
Our websites do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. Some of our websites may allow advertising and analytics providers, such as Meta and Google, to collect information about visits over time and across sites to measure our ads. We do not knowingly allow these tools to collect information about students.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and if a change is material we will notify enrolled families by email before it takes effect.
